Miss Turquoise Circuit 2025- Tonantzín Candelaria

My name is Tonantzín Candelaria (pronounced Tow-nan-seen), and I am honored to serve as your 2025 Miss Turquoise Circuit! This title has been a long-standing dream of mine, and I am thrilled to officially represent the organization and the sport of rodeo. I am the 22-year-old daughter of Joaquin and Kyola Candelaria.

As a proud Native American, Chicana, and Hispanic woman, I carry the stories and strength of my heritage. My maternal clan is The Parrot clan from Laguna Pueblo and my paternal clan is Fox of the East clan from Santo Domingo Pueblo. My Hispanic roots run deep as a land grant heir of Atrisco Valley and Cubero, New Mexico, and I’m proud to be a fourth-generation Chicana. ¡Que viva Nuevo

Beyond celebrating my culture and the sport of rodeo, I also strive to honor my faith as a Christian. I represent my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and pray for His guidance to be the best role model I can be as I embrace this exciting journey. I know none of this would be possible without Him.

As MTC, I plan to attend as many Turquoise Circuit rodeos as possible being on the rodeo road promoting the vision, mission, and goals of the Professional Sport of Rodeo. From school visits, community engagements, rodeo appearances, sponsor visits, rodeo queen events, and more. I can’t wait to meet you all down the rodeo road.
